Our music is comprised of soulful vocals, gritty guitar riffs, harmonic keys, percussive beats and rhythmic bass. Collectively we take the listener on a journey through the sounds of early rock n roll, the swinging 60s, guitar driven 70s and to everywhere that music matters.
Introducing Andrew
Switching between his Suhr Telecaster Electric and the folk Acoustic sounds on his Martin, he serves the music and applies the soaring rhythms.
Meet Alex
On bass and groove, in the pocket and with taste. Our Bass Guitar Guitar man (he works at Guitar Guitar, Epsom), Alex is a highly talented musician and respected member of the band.
Meet Jess
She works in a Special Needs school by day and is the Blanks’ pianist, horn section and backing vocals by night. Creative, talented and highly respected amongst her peers.
Introducing Steve
He is never happier than when sifting through vinyl in record shops looking for his next exciting find. He has
a deep rooted love
of the blues and rockabilly and it shows in his guitar playing and choice of Gretch for his guitar. He is a talented musician and takes the lead with his guitar solos and harmonica playing.
Meet Michael aka ‘Micky Sticks’
Drummer, percussion, pianist, guitarist, song writer, lawyer. Is there anything he cannot
do. He lays down the heartbeat of the Blanks sound with appropriate beats, and impeccable timing.

The band were named after this leading man. He is the face, the voice and the charm. Quick with his Teesside wit and ready with a funny introduction to
the songs.
